British Fashion Awards 2015 – Best Dressed

Hello Lovelies

Those at the forefront of all things fashion were out in full force last night at the British Fashion Awards.  The event was held at the London Coliseum and was attended by Lady Gaga, Lewis Hamilton, various “Supers”, The Beckhams and the one woman fashion powerhouse that is Anna Wintour, amongst many others.

This year J W Anderson became the first ever designer to win Best Designer in both Women’s and Menswear categories.  Karl Lagerfeld was honored with the Outstanding Achievement Award, about time wouldn’t you say?  I mean, the guy is 82!

As you would imagine there were so many fabulously well dressed people on the red carpet but here’s who impressed me…..

Model Of The Year Award winner Jourdan Dunn looked stunning in this black and white, backless Mugler creation complete with thigh high split that showed off her amazing legs to perfection.  She was the epitome of chic, with perfectly polished hair and make up, a simple smokey eye being all she needed.

Former Victoria’s Secret model Karli Kloss wowed in this ornate, partly sheer metallic Chanel dress.  She too kept her accessories simple with black stiletto heels and a glitter detailed Chanel clutch, she added a splash of colour to her look with a slick of red lipstick.

My favourite look by far though was American model Arizona Muse in this beautiful white, full skirted Ralph & Russo Gown, accessorised with jewels from De Beers and a Jimmy Choo clutch bag.  Her 40’s style hair and red lips added the old fashioned glamour that this look cried out for.

There were quite a lot of red lips on the BFAs red carpet, I think I shall have to have a rummage around in my make up bag tomorrow and pull mine out for the winter!

What were your favourite looks from this weeks events?

Peace and Love
