Laura Bailey Collaborates with LK Bennett

One of my favourite models and all round general fashion icon, Laura Bailey has collaborated with LK Bennett, you know them, they’re the Duchess of Cambridge’s go to brand for the sleek, practical pumps she often wears on royal duties.  I love Laura, she’s super stylish but always keeps things fresh and simple which means her style remains accessible to everyday women like me who may look to her for inspiration.

This limited edition capsule collection contains 5 shoe and 2 clutch bag designs.  Laura has drawn inspiration from the Italian Coastal area of Amalfi, apparently one of her favoured holiday destinations, so think sunshine yellow and ocean blue for the colour palette.  The shoe designs are inspired by the personal style of 1960’s Italian movie starlets such as Monica Vitti and Claudia Cardinale, put it this way you won’t look out of place cruising around Capri on a Vespa or lunching by the Harbour in a pair of these!

Bella Canvas Buckle Clutch – 275 GBP

Monica Patent and Canvas Shoe – 275 GBP

The Monica’s will look great with distressed Boyfriends for a glammed up casual look.  Team the cute pointed toe flats above with a pair of Capris and a crisp white shirt for everyday chicness.

Oh dear, all this talk of Amalfi and Vespas makes me want to go to Italy again now, sit outside on a cobbled street eating lunch, watching the world go by in a fabulous headscarf and shades!

Hilda Ogden's trademark look is back from the past

Good Old Hilda Ogden from Coronation Street back in the day

Who am I trying kid?  I’d end up looking like our Hilda from Corrie!

The Laura Bailey Capsule Collection is available online and in stores from March 25th.
